Gir forest is the last habitat of Asiatic lions and after hard efforts by the local people and the forest department the number of lions has been increased year by year, now it has been reached to 600 (unofficial census).
This video is bit older and we have shot it few years back. in this video we have just tried to share archive and show you how Forest Department has been trying to rescue and rehabilitate the lions in their natural habitat. We have shot during our visit at Devaliya safari and interpretation zone.
This video was shot during our PRESS visit to forest about releasing a lion back in the jungle after it’s surgical treatment. That release video has been uploaded separately, following link.
