A pride of lion was seen in the Bhabnath area of Junagarh, Gujarat. On wednesday night the seven sisters went on a hunt? Questions are coming to mind. However this is not a new incident of sighting of King of the jungle on the Gujarat streets. As the place is nearby (60 to 70 km) of The Sasan Gir National Park incidents of Sighting of Leo Panthera were reported earlier in 2016,17 & 18 also. In this year in the month of February two village men were attacked by a lion when it was disturbed by the mob. According to the 2015 Lion Census the population of Asiatic lion is 523 however the forest officials are reporting the number has crossed the 600 figure. Therefore they are on a search for a newer territory and exploring newer areas.
